Version 1.25
New Features:
- Statistics Filtering is now available allowing the user to identify particular drills that need improvement. Refer to the statistics manual for details.
- The Statistics Add-on is now available in German. Menus and database keywords are translated.
- State now supports multiple users, ideal for instructors with multiple students. A password protected version, suitable for pool halls, is still planned.
Bug Fixes:
- End-mount users might have noticed some ghost balls did not properly "touch" the associated object ball (side-mount is OK). This bug was introduced in an earlier version, now fixed.
- The 'Y' shortcut key will in-selectable image.
- Shift-Up Arrow/and Shift-Down Arrow will display a random drill from the current directory.
- ICA Circle targets can now vibrate halfway off the table, for a sink-hole against a cushion or a quarter stack in a corner.
Version 1.2204
New Features:
- Images can now be loaded into Text Boxes, to support QR codes linking to associated training videos, etc.
- Cue Balls now support "Extended Aiming Lines" as an aiming aid.
Bug Fixes:
- Phantom-feed black lines ("stack" inside a ball) are ignored.
- Some German language translations are improved.
- The finish "Update Complete" message, misleading as it always implied "success", has been changed so failure of other code or content update is communicated.
- Cosmetic problems with track labels during "Add/Remove Segment" are fixed.
Version 1.2202
- Fixed several small problems around the new features of Drill Previews, Curves, Add/Remove Segments and Free Lines.
- Added Escape key as a global and simple "close current menu" function.
- The "Yes/No" menu, which gathers a Y/N answer to a question, now accepts the equivalent keystroke (in addition to mouse clicks).
- In FileManager, if focus is not on the filename entry/edit widget, a backspace key will move to the parent directory.
- Ball Labels, did not support special characters like question mark, underscore, etc. Non-alphanumeric printable characters are now supported.
Version 1.22
New Features:
- When a file is highlighted in the File Manager a miniature version of the drill is displayed, simplifying the user's job of finding the desired drill to load.
- Track line segments can now be Bezier curves, to allow easy drawing of curved ball paths such as massé shots. A Right-click on the desired track line segment and select "Curve" from the menu.
- "Floating Lines", which are lines not attached to a ball and very similar in function to Track Lines, are now added as a layout tool. Arrowheads (None, Start, Both) are also supported through the Right-Click menu. Shortcut key 'Ctrl-l' (L) will starts a Floating Line at the current mouse position.
- Track Line Segments can now be added or removed through right-click menus. "Removing" a curve turns it back into a straight line.
- "Start Calibration" shortcut key SHIFT-S added.
Bug Fixes:
- Pattern Ball out angles were not being rotated during use of the shift-B shortcut key. Fixed.
- During calibration, shortcut key 'D' toggles end-mount/side-mount but resulted in the mouse being unusable after toggle. Fixed.
- When attempting to save a Target Practice "solution", the user is informed if there is any missing critical element (AB pill, Trackline) and the drill will not be saved.
- After editing an existing TP solution, in certain situations the user could not overwrite the desired file. Fixed.
Version 1.15
- Major new feature "Pattern Breakdown" implemented. See \pattern\pattern breakdown for details.
- "Ctrl-P" shortcut key adds a "Pattern Ball", used for Pattern Breakdown layouts.
- "Target Circle" (circle/square) from Target Practice Setup is now scaled to both Base and Solution drills for consistency.
- Ball and field rendering algorithms. For a look better on lower resolution projectors and are now consistent across all table sizes.
- Caps-Lock prevented previous/next drill arrow keys from working. Fixed.
Version 1.05
- CATS again properly loads JPG images as drills (error introduced by changes in V1.04).
- New keyboard shortcuts implemented.
- Ball labels (cue ball, object ball, spacer ball) are now moveable. Just click-and-drag to move labels to one of 8 positions around the ball.
- Ball labels are now editable. Right-click on a ball, select 'Edit Label', and create an arbitrary (up to 3 letter) label.
- Fixed error where Caps-Lock enabled caused all hotkeys to be ignored, appearing to lock-up the program.
- Table images (JPGs) are now loaded in native (non-inverted) form, preserving color images. Images were previously loaded in inverted form, as some white-on-black material looked "cool".
